ATSN Offers Cash Prize at the 10th Anniversary JP Rocky Mountain 3 Gun

Houston, Texas --(July 18, 2012) American Trigger Sports Network (ATSN.tv) returns to the NRA Whittington Center in Raton, New Mexico, August 9th through 11th, to film the JP RM3G World Championship, a multi-gun match that takes full advantage of 33,000 acres of natural terrain, engaging competition shooters with dynamic three-gun stages, 600-yard rifle shots, and a spectacular backdrop including old coal-mining town ruins, big game animals, roadside wildflowers and enchanting sunsets.

This year marks the JP RM3G 10th Anniversary, which continues the tradition of the original 29-year-consecutive-running Soldier of Fortune 3-Gun World Championship.

In celebration of this marked event, JP RM3G will be honoring the anniversary with a special long-range side match, the “Long Range Challenge”, with a $500.00 cash prize to the winner, provided by ATSN.tv.

Shooters are encouraged to take time out from the main match events to compete for the ATSN.TV prize money, while getting to test the state-of-the-art JP rifles at ranges beyond 1000 yards using 6.5 Creedmoor ammunition provided by Hornady Manufacturing Company. Proceeds from this event and special edition rifle sales will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project to aid and assist injured service members.

ATSN.tv host, James B. Towle, says, "It is always great to be at the Whittington Center, and John Paul and JP Rifles continue to provide shooters with a world-class event. Match Directors, Denise and JJ Johnson, offer shooters a challenging course and our camera crew loves to capture the natural beauty and rugged terrain."

American Trigger Sports Network (ATSN) offers gun enthusiasts a variety of show episodes including "Stop the Threat" and coverage of shooting events, plus shooter training episodes. ATSN appears each week on the PURSUIT Channel at DirecTV 608 and Dish Network 240. Programming can also be seen at www.atsn.tv, with a new show each Wednesday and archives of all episodes.

About ATSN

NOTE: ATSN was born from the already popular national Radio broadcast, "Trigger Sports Radio", hosted by James B. Towle. Towle wanted to bring the world of Trigger Sports to a whole new level by introducing video clips and LIVE coverage from shooting events, plus NRA updates from Headquarters, Hunting Reports and expert guests on Trigger Sports LIVE! an internet television weekly show. From there, Towle expanded by introducing Trigger Sports TV via DirecTV and Dish Network on the Pursuit Channel. Traveling across the USA, Towle and the ATSN film crew taped competitions and training events in all shooting discipline. Soon after, Towle realized that gun owners needed information on the responsibility of personal self-defense and gun handling beyond the shooting range, and Stop the Threat was born. Each week a panel of law enforcement experts discuss the re-enactment of true crime incidents that have occurred throughout the US and offer the audience sound information to better protect themselves and their loved ones. Towle often asks the viewers to consider "when to shoot or when to retreat". ATSN continues to be the leader in your trigger sports, and personal defense tactics and education.

Mission Statement

"To discuss the safe and responsible ownership of guns as a family sport and an American Tradition".
